Promoters Honor Women’s History Month by Raising Awareness

In honor of National Women’s history month, Josephine Lounge, Culdesac, SP Productions, ArtLyf Entertainment, Unite&Give, and the Somaly Mam Organization have joined together to support the mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and educating the young women and children that have been sold into sex slavery.

For years now, millions of women and children have been and continue to be kidnapped and/or sold into sex slavery, in some cases, by their very own family members. This despicable crime has expanded catastrophically at the expense of women and children around the world. I feel it is my personal mission as a woman, who has been privileged to an education and the freedom to choose, to help other women just like myself escape from such a devastating and horrifying enslavement.

These women and children are subject to consistent acts of rape, torture, and starvation in order to profit the heinous crime of human trafficking. Many women and children die from such ruthless abuse, often after attempting to escape. It is our duty as citizens and supporters of the freedom and well being of women all over the world to support this mission to terminate the world’s second largest organized crime. It is the organizations such as the Somaly Mam Organization that help us to do exactly that.

It is the mission of the Somaly Mam Organization to fight towards the abolishment of human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of women and children all over the world, an act that has been so unfathomably accepted in countries such as Cambodia, Southeast Asia, and all over the world. What better time to support Somaly Mam’s mission than National Women’s History month.

YOU, now have the opportunity to take action and help the Somaly Mam Organization support the mission to end sex slavery by coming to Josephine Saturday, March 13th 2010. I urge each of you to come and help make a difference in the lives of millions of women and children that have fallen victim to such corruption.

All ladies and gentlemen are free until 12am on the guest list, and with your help, five dollars will be donated to the Somaly Mam Organization and their mission to rescue these exploited women and children for every influential woman in attendance.
